In August 2013, we bought an old and worn-down property colonial style in the center of La Serena.
Our goal was to create an international meeting point for people from all over the world who love to travel and who are looking for a place where they can exchange thoughts and ideas with fellow travellers and relax as well. That's how "La Sombra Del Viento" hostal was born.
We are now ready to open our sanctuary's doors to the public, and are ready to take your reservations!

From the bus station: 20 minutes on foot, or about 3000 pesos in taxi.
From the airport: 15 to 20 minutes in taxi, about 5000 pesos.
